We will love you forever; and forever you will be, the most wonderful mother to me. Happy Mother’s Day. Y4 and Y5 hope you enjoyed your special afternoon.
Miss Craddock’s class have started to plant the seeds for our potatoes, this is the second stage to out grow your own potatoes.
We placed the chatted potatoes into grow bags with soil, then we watered them.
Now to wait a few weeks to see if they have grown.
We have also put one seed into a plastic bottle. So we can see it growing through the plastic, we can record the progression of growth.
Miss Craddock’s class are taking part in a national grow your own potatoes competition, with other schools around the country.
For more information on what the children will be doing, go to www.growyourownpotatoes.org.uk
